Clara was born August 18, 1930 at Flying Dust First Nation, SK and passed away November 14, 2018 in Meadow Lake, SK.
Clara is survived by her husband: Bob Norman; sons: Jim (Brenda) Norman and Denny (Lynn) Norman; grandchildren: Asiah, Alanna, Kirsten, Rubyn (Joelle), Jeremy (Shauna), Ruby (Kyle) and Stephen (Sarah); great grandchildren: Kole (Brittney), Shavon (Ethan), Sahayle, Shanelle, Jerome, Sawyer, Avery, James, Owen, Iyla, Kraven, Storm, Emmett, Summer, Issac, Joseph and Rebecca; great great grandchild: Eli.
Clara was predeceased by her parents: Louie and Eliza Merasty; brothers: Tom Merasty, Fred Merasty, Mike Merasty, Joe Merasty and Stanley Merasty; sisters: Cecile Eagleman and Madeline Laliberte; and great grandson: Chayse Norman.
A wake service was held at the Flying Dust gymnasium. The funeral service was held November 16, 2018 at the Flying Dust gymnasium with Reverend Gary Mackey officiating. Readers were Joelle Norman and Sarah Norman and music was by Denny Norman, Rubyn Norman, Stephen Norman and Ruby Sinclair. Pallbearers were Rubyn Norman, Jeremy Norman, Stephen Norman, Kole Norman, Gerry Merasty and Jerome Norman. Honorary pallbearers were all Clara’s grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and all those who knew and loved Clara.
