It is with sadness that we announce that Murray has passed on. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister: Lana Blackett, of St. Albert, AB; as well as his son: Nelson Whitmore (Tracey) of Calgary, AB and grandchildren: Logan, Lauren and Dylan; his daughter: Colleen Whitmore (Raymond Schuch) of Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, and grandchildren: Audrey, Aerin and Hunter. He also left his niece: Rhonda (Kruger) Kozuska and nephew: Gordon Kruger.
Murray started working with Employment Canada in Uranium City, SK, then moved to Meadow Lake, SK to finish his career. After retirement from the government, he set up a woodworking shop and built custom furniture. Murray enjoyed golf, woodworking, reading and generally philosophizing with some of his closer friends.
In accordance with Murray’s wishes, there will be no service.
A private interment will take place in Meadow Lake.
