Tillie (Matilda) Hamm

With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Tillie Hamm on Feb. 3, 2018 after a nine year battle with kidney disease. She was born in Meadow Lake, SK on Sept. 30, 1927, and passed away four months after her 90th birthday.
She lived life to the fullest and was always thinking of other people. Her immediate and extended family were her pride and joy. Her home was always open for coffee or a meal for anyone who just wanted to sit and chat. She was an avid gardener, loved picking berries, playing cards, bingo, camping and fishing.
She is survived by her sister: Freda Krueger; sisters-in-law: Bernice Murray and Gladys Pederson; children: Eunice (Don) Stevenot, Dale Hamm and Elimarie (Glen Sinclair) McPherson; grandchildren: Matthew (Serena) Stevenot, Jonathan (Nancy) Stevenot, Michael (Kelsey) Hamm and Emily Hamm; great grandchildren: Kadence, Shyla, Mitchell and Kailey.
Tillie was predeceased by her husband: Walter in 2002; son: Gordon in 1976; parents: Jack and Bernadette Murray; siblings: Mary Gehl, Pat Murray, Jim Murray, Millie Nydeggar, Evelyn Murray, Eleanor Pierce, Charles (Chick) Murray, George Murray, William Murray, Stanley Murray and (Joker) Murray.
The family appreciates the staff at enriched housing, the ambulance attendants, the staff of Meadow Lake Hospital and everyone else who took care of Tillie.
